Adv. Andrea Colletti is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court and consultant in Institutional and Governmental Relations, with expertise in Medical Liability and Contracts. He holds a Master's Degree in Law (2005) from the University of Bologna, a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (2008) from the University of Bologna, and a Master's Degree in Processes of Internationalisation of Small and Medium Enterprises (2009) from the Alma Graduate School of Bologna.
He was a Visiting Student at Essex University (UK) in 2002-2003 and at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Uned (Spain) in 2004-2005 for the preparation of his diploma theses. He is proficient in English, Spanish, and French.
From 2013 to 2022, he served as a Deputy of the Republic of Italy.
From 2018 to 2023, he was the President of the Appeals Panel of the Chamber of Deputies.
During the XVII Legislature (2013-2018), he was a Commissioner of the Justice Commission. He was the minority speaker of the Medical Liability Law (Law no. 24/2017) and numerous other legislative measures.
During the XVIII Legislature (2018-2022), he was a Commissioner for Foreign and Community Affairs Commission, Commissioner of the Justice Commission, and President of the Board of Appeal of the Chamber of Deputies, the highest body of parliamentary self-government. He presented several legislative proposals, including: establishment of a Parliamentary Committee of inquiry into errors in the health field, into the causes of regional health deficits, and into the procurement system in the health sector (A.C. 1055); Norms in matters of medical responsibility (A.C. 1321); Delegation to the Government for the reorganization of the provisions concerning civil trials and the special rites according to criteria of efficiency and harmonization (A.C. 1475).
For years, he has collaborated with the non-profit organization ‘For the Protection of Patients rights’ in Pescara in the field of Medical Responsibility issues. He has been a relator on numerous conferences on the subject of Medical Liability and Motor Insurance.
